I hope you are wonderful this week. I am a bit overwhelmed this week because I am going to Italy for our honeymoon next week, hoooraaayyyy, and this morning I realized how much I have to do. In this week’s video I want to share with you all the lemon properties, how it helps you detox your body and lose weight.

- Lemons are high in vitamin C and potassium, and this combination is ideal to help strengthen your immune system. When you want to fight a cold be sure to have organic lemons handy.
- Lemons also help balance the pH in your body, this means that even though they are acidic in taste, lemons become alkaline in our body helping to create a balanced PH. This results in a healthier body predisposed to lose those extra pounds, easier.
- Lemons are also very high in pectin fiber, which makes you feel full and satisfied controlling your cravings which are often the cause of a few extra pounds.
- Lemons are an excellent diuretic, helping your body dispose of the waste not needed. Warm water with lemon accelerates the urge to go to the bathroom (number 1 and 2) this way you detox your body from toxins.
But how do we consume lemon water everyday? Well that my friends is the easiest part of this blog post.
When you wake up grab a cup of warm water, very important that the water is warm because this temperature helps to stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and expedite the disposal of toxins, then squeeze ½ an organic lemon and you drink it first thing in the morning. Pretty simple, right?
