I generally don’t have a sweet tooth, I am more of a salty kind of person. However, I do sometimes have cravings for sweet desserts that are not extremely sweet. I have made up some great recipes and would love to share this one with you: Healthy Quinoa Cookie Dough Bites!
Are you ready for some yumminess heaven on earth?
Serves 3-4 (adjust accordingly)
All organic ingredients:
1 Scoop of high quality protein powder (http://organiclifetv.
Cacao Nibs, dry fruits, cranberries, raisins, and/or sunflower seeds.
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the cacao nibs, seeds and dry fruits, and mix well until a paste is form. Make little balls with your hands of cookie dough and add the different dry fruits, cacao nibs and seeds (be creative here, use any combination you want for your cookie bites) and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Place in the oven at 350• for about 12-15 mins depending on your oven’s power and voila! Enjoy it… Buen Provecho!!!
Use non-cooked sprouted quinoa (about 1/2 cup of uncooked quinoa or 1/2 cup soaked quinoa). And put it in the freezer for 30 mins or more.
Share with me in the comments below your favorite recipe that is not ultra sweet but still take care of that sweet craving mid-afternoon. Tag me if you ever make this amazing cookie dough bites and let me know how it is!
