Healthy Smoothie Popsicles!

Hola amigos,

Summer time is here and with that comes vacation time and all the festivities like memorial day and the 4th of July. Usually we tend to be more aware of our bodies during this season, because obviously it’s bathing suit time. However, we tend to overeat due to our vacation mode mentality, yikes… Here is a healthy smoothie popsicle recipe perfect for those BBQ, cookouts and pool days.

Here are four variations of these popsicles. You can play around with whichever fruits you have at your disposal. You could even use your leftover green juice if you wish. I like to add chunks of fruit that are not blended just to give it some texture. Besides, it looks prettier 😉

Use organic ingredients when possible:

Ps: The quantity of the ingredients will vary depending on your popsicle trays. Make sure you use BPA-Free containers. I will share what I used on mine under variations.

Variations:

– 1/4 Coconut milk

-1/4 Mango

– 2 Dates

– 2 Strawberries cut in small pieces

Blend everything except the strawberries. Pour the mix on your popsicle container and add the pieces of strawberries. Put in the freezer for at least 3 hours or overnight it.

– 1/4 Coconut milk

-1/4 Mango

– 1/4 Banana

– 15-20 Blueberries

Blend everything except the blueberries. Pour the mix on your popsicle container and add the blueberries. Put in the freezer for at least 3 hours or overnight it.

– 1/2 Tbs raw honey

– 15-20 Blueberries

Blend everything except the blueberries. Pour the mix on your popsicle container and add the blueberries. Put in the freezer for at least 3 hours or overnight it.
