Healthy Snack For A Flat Tummy!

Today is the day I leave to Italy with my husbandcito for our honeymoon. We couldn’t be more excited about this trip that we long waited for and we so much deserve. I will be disconnected for the next 10 days, I will miss you though, however I have to dedicate this time to my husband, myself and us 😉

Wednesdays is the day my videos come out so today I have a wonderful video for you. I will show you another healthy recipe but this time is a sophisticated and super delicious snack full of benefits for your health and good to help flatten your mid-section, I know awesome!


The base of this recipe is avocado and Greek yogurt. Let me tell you that avocados are the essential secret ingredient if you want to flatten your tummy. The monounsaturated fatty acids in avocados help you burn fat in the central part of your body, the dreaded gut (AAAAGGHHHHH). Besides the type of beneficial fat in avocados, they are also a high source of potassium, vitamin E, B vitamins and fiber. Yes they are high in calories but remember the OrganicLifeTV rule, the important thing here is to eat unprocessed, natural food 80-90% of the time.

Counting calories is a story of the past and the dreaded diets. We are changing our lifestyle, we are not part of the diet that’s “in” at the moment.

Greek yogurt contains more protein, fewer carbohydrates and less sugar than regular yogurt, it is also an excellent way to keep our digestive system very happy, because of the amount of beneficial bacteria it contains.

Ready for the recipe? You will need:

  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ cup of Greek yogurt
  • A pinch of sea salt or Himalayan
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A splash of lemon
  • And 1 clove garlic

Blend all the ingredients and make a spread. Chop cucumbers in slices or use mini carrots to eat with it.

Now you have a sophisticated, exquisite and special snack that will flatten your tummy as you are enjoying every bite.

Disclaimer: eating avocados alone won’t flatten your stomach (trust me, I wish). You need to be smart about what you are consuming everyday and exercise often.
